Lending helping hand

We have following initiatives for which we are seeking the following help from government and private organizations.

We also welcome individual contributions with tax deductible donations.



  1. Adopting-a-school programme

    Cost of support a school: INR 60K.

    Cost of onboarding one consultant for a year: INR 60K


  2. Setting up COMET computer labs in remote areas. You can support here in one of the following ways -

    • Cost of sponsoring desktop or laptop: INR 20K per system.
    • Cost of sponsoring one year rental for the computer labs: INR 36K per year.
    • Cost of sponsoring one year salary of the consultant: INR 72K.

  3. Establishing inter-school competition to foster healthy competition among the schools in remote places.

    Cost to sponsor the contest: Appx. 50K to 1.5 Lakhs (depending on number of schools participating and the venue selected).

    Cost of prizes to the top 10 winners of the competition: Appx. 50K.

  5. Conducting career counselling and development workshops in schools

    Cost of one workshop in a school: approximately 20K.

  6. Conducting career fests in remote towns to raise students’ awareness about career.

  7. Donating refurbished laptops/desktops/tabs.

    Organizations who have a policy of refurbishing systems can donate used systems to some underprivileged COMET students or to some disadvantaged schools through the COMET Foundation. Cost to sponsor one event: appx. 50-60K

  8. Providing valuable but paid IT courses and certifications to the COMET students.

    Cost to sponsor a course/IT certification range from 5K-50K range

  9. Sponsoring BCA/BBA course fee for poor student from recognized university.

    Note: for such students, we have the family's annual income proof officially for confirmation.

    Cost to sponsor one student for complete course: appx. 75K-100K

  10. Sponsoring laptop for poor students pursuing BCA course but are not able to afford laptop.

    Note: for such students, we have the family's annual income proof officially for confirmation.

    Cost to sponsor a laptop: 30-35 K

  11. Internship opportunities / fresher job opportunities to students who are pursuing BCA course: we have few students in BCA 2 nd and 3 rd year who are well trained on various tools and these students are desperately looking for internship opportunity. Likewise there are few students who are BCA and B.Tech pass-out COMET trained students who are looking for fresher job opportunity.

  12. For different contributions made –

    • We welcome the donors to visit the schools/ facility to witness the implementation status.

    • In case donors are helping the students directly, we welcome donors to meet the student directly

    • In case of donation for career workshop and career fest, we share the event details (pics and videos) with donors. We will be glad to welcome donors to join join the event and feel the proud about their contributions.

    • Tax exemption receipt

    • Appreciation letter

    • Display organization’s name in COMET website
